“It’s not enough, is it?” Jongup’s quiet voice had broken the silence. Himchan, who had been in charge of counting the money, sadly shook his head. By the heavy silence and the grim look on their leader’s face, it had been apparent from the beginning that they didn’t have nearly the amount to get Youngjae back. They had taken a chance with robbing the armored truck, but it didn’t pay off. They had little time, too little time, and things weren’t looking good.
“What do we do now?” Daehyun asked, voice just as quiet as Jongup’s. All eyes were on their leader who made no response. He stared right ahead, his eyes on the money, expression so dark none of them could feel even a sliver of hope.
Yongguk sighed after a minute in silence. “I had a backup plan I was hoping I wouldn’t have to use.”
“Well, what is it?” Himchan asked.
“I know someone who can help us out."
